2017 has been busy and exciting! My husband had a very successful first year teaching at Washington-Lee High School, we moved to a different apartment half way into our contract (not our choice but turned out to be a huge blessing), we started exercising more, and we traveled abroad together for the first time!

Mexico was so fun! We were there for a week during spring break. Ethan had served his mission in Oaxaca, Mexico, so we spent most of the time with his mission friends and church members. Amazing food every day, a lot of walking, and beautiful buildings everywhere!

The best thing about your husband being a high school teacher is the SUMMER. We got to spend 3 weeks in Korea where my husband had never been before. It was insanely hot and humid, but we really enjoyed our time sightseeing, spending time with my relatives, buying souvenirs, and experiencing a new culture (for my husband, that is).
Even though I was born and raised in Korea, there were still so many places I've never been, and it was fun to explore those beautiful places with my husband.

Not a foreign country, but we visited NY for fun as well. NYC with my sister, and upstate NY with the church youth group.
The summer is coming to an end but I'm really excited for the fall. It's new school year for my husband and I'll be focusing on doing art only (no more nannying). Hopefully we'll do more traveling, exploring, and having fun living life! :)
